Hi, I’m Emma Seymour, founder of the Seymour Clinic.  Welcome!


I’m a highly qualified clinical hypnotherapist and transformational coach with a wealth of experience and a burning desire to help you overcome challenges, achieve your goals, and become all you truly want to be.

I’m dedicated to helping you achieve a successful outcome… whatever that means to you.

Like most people, I have suffered in my life. I’ve struggled with phobias, depression, anxiety, trauma, lack of confidence, sports performance, sleep issues, smoking, weight control, fertility, and relationships.

The first thing that ever really helped me to make positive changes in my own life was hypnotherapy. My spider phobia was gone after one session. I stopped smoking after two (and that was eight years ago).

These days, I’m healthy, I like myself, and honestly, I’m in the best shape of my life at 40. I’m a great public speaker. Finally, I am a confident, calm, happy person.

The best thing about all this is that I’m able to share the things I’ve learned with you. I have trained extensively with several of the best hypnotherapy and psychotherapy schools and colleges in the UK. I’ve used all that education and my own experiences to create a unique approach that really works.

In the simplest terms, for therapy I combine cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques and philosophies with clinical hypnosis. Two great things about this: one, it’s quick; and two, it’s super effective. (And three, it can be fun, but that’s kind of besides the point.)

For coaching, I use the same foundations and principles, just applied differently, and with a range of proven techniques and approaches added according to your needs.

If you become my client, we’ll work together from the start. It’s always collaborative, and you stay in control. We’ll clarify your situation, and get a really good understanding of where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go. We’ll agree your goals and make a plan to get you there. My clients reach their initial goals within 3-12 weeks.

I’m also a compassionate human being, and unlike many therapists, I’m friendly! A smile goes a long way, so I combine kindness and understanding with my science-based approach and high professional standards, so you get the best possible therapeutic experience.

I’m frustrated when I hear about sub-standard coaching and therapy. Clients often come to me after a series of bad experiences elsewhere, and it’s my mission to end that by helping you to succeed in a truly sustainable way. If a genie granted me one wish, I’d set us all free from the suffering that comes from our own minds. So I work to make that happen one client at a time.
